Feed Forsyth had a Busy Year in 2013 Feed the Hungry Forsyth delivered a total of 84,761 lbs of food to 18 community food ministries in 2013 including: Abba House, ACT Together Ministries, Bald Ridge Lodge, City on a Hill Church, Cumming First UMC, Cumming Home Ministries, First Christian Church, Freedom Tabernacle, Helping Hands Food Pantry, Hightower Baptist Association Food Bank, John 6:35 Food Pantry (Greater Heights Baptist Church), Hope House, Jesse’s House, Meals by Grace, MSG Foundation, No Longer Bound, St. Joseph’s Food Pantry (St. Brendan’s The Navigator), and The Place of Forsyth. The organization is actively raising funds to purchase a second refrigerated truck to increase the amount of food it can move each week. Plans are being made to hold additional food drives to help provide for the Summer Bags of Love ministry operated by several of the pantries. Feed the Hungry Forsyth, Inc. is a...
