Love Local It’s been three and a half years since I started Cumming Local. The mission was simple – to help our readers find things to do, places to go & small businesses to support – locally! In the process we’ve come to know some really great businesses and we love getting to share them with you! Chick-fil-A Daddy-Daughter Date Night 2014: Chick-fil-A is once again bringing us the “Daddy-Daughter Date Night“. If you haven’t participated in this event before, it’s a fun night for Dad’s to take their daughters out. It’s a fun way to enjoy a little daddy-daughter time and Dad has a great opportunity to show his daughter how she should be treated on a date – whether she’s 3 or 16! It looks like only one of the Cumming, GA locations will participate this year (likely due to the Forsyth Collection / Avenue location closing for remodels). Valentine’s Day 2014: Crafts, Food & Local Fun in Cumming GA Valentine’s Day 2014 falls on a Friday this year. And there are so many things to do in Cumming, GA & Forsyth County to celebrate Valentine’s this year. Make sure you check out our Round-Up of Local fun. But there’s also a lot you can do to celebrate at home – with crafts & homemade food too! Valentine’s Day 2014 Craft Ideas: There are tons of fun Valentine’s crafts that you can do with your kids or that your kids can do themselves. I have a 1 yr old and 4 yr old so I lean towards the little kid crafts. However, I have been keeping my eye out for older kid crafts as well. I just created a board on our Pinterest board for Valentine’s Day. You can see that board by clicking here. I’ve pinned tons of craft ideas on there. And I will continue to add more! Valentine’s Day 2014 Food Ideas: Oh my all the delicious Valentine’s Day food. There were tons of great sweet options. But also some yummy dinner and breakfast ideas.
