We’re working to compile a list of Vacation Bible Schools in Forsyth County & Cumming GA (VBS). We’ll continue to add to the list as more information is released for each church and also when we find more opportunities available. If you have information about a VBS Program at your church, please use our VBS Camp Submission Form and we’ll make sure to add it! Old Atlanta Spray Pad in Forsyth County: 2014 Season Forsyth County Parks & Recreation just released the Old Atlanta Spray Park 2014 Season dates. And according to the 2014 Summer Activity Guide, it’s May 24th! My kids ABSOLUTELY loved this park last summer so we will definitely be going there again. It isn’t expensive to get in and it is so fun for the kids of ALL ages! Artistic Adventure Summer Camps This summer Artistic Adventures is packed full of fun and creative art camps. This is their 12th year of weekly camps for pottery and art. This summer camps will cover many different art genres. Throughout the summer the morning camps feature pottery wheel and handbuilding while the Art Art Attack camps feature both pottery and fine art. Some weeks are ages 6-8 and other weeks are 9 and up. Cumming Dance Academy – Summer Fantasy and Intensive Camps We have teamed up with Cumming Dance Academy to share what great summer camp options they have this summer. My family loves Cumming Dance Academy! No matter the skill level one of these camps will be a great entry way into dance for your child. They have two types of camps this year – Fantasy Dance Camp or Summer Dance Intensive. The first we will share with you is the Fantasy Dance Camp. Our Fantasy Camps are just what your dancer needs to get her through the summer break and keep her moving forward in dance before the new season begins! Dance camps are also an excellent place to start for new dancers. Camp gives them a chance to get acclimated to the studio, learn class routines, and discover just how much fun dance can be! Fantasy Camp is designed for students age 2-8. Dancers attend 3 hours daily for an entire week, learning new technique and dance styles as well as participate in snack, craft, and movie time. On the final day of camp, we have an in-class Parent Performance for our students to demonstrate all they have learned!
