Who’s ready for some Summer Fun in Forsyth County? We’ve made a 2014 Round-up of Summer Fun in Forsyth County for Kids … from A to Z. Here’s to SUMMER … A Park Tour – My kids love going on park tours – we’ll hit 3-4 parks & playgrounds in Forsyth County and go from park to park, it makes for a fun afternoon! Outdoor Summer Movies in Cumming GA, Forsyth County Outdoor Summer Movies in Cumming GA, Forsyth County are BACK! With a little bit of a change but also with some REALLY great movies! The biggest change is that the venue has moved to Vickery Village off Post Road. However, most importantly, they are still FREE! So grab your blankets, chairs, the kiddos and everything you’ll need for a fun night under the stars. Cumming Aquatic Center 2014 Season Opening The City of Cumming has announced the summer schedule for the Cumming Aquatic Center 2014. We are happy to share it with you! The following information was released from the Cumming Aquatic Center website: Opening Dates: Weekends Only – Beginning May 3rd to May 18th (Saturday & Sunday 1pm to 6m) Daily – May 24th to August 6th Hours: Monday through Saturday – Session 1: 10am to 2pm* Session 2: 2:30pm to 6:30pm* Sunday – 1pm to 6pm* *VERY IMPORTANT: A separate admission is required for EACH session. (Sorry, I don’t make the rules I just share them – if I made the rules, it would be different!) Update: The 2014 Strawberry Season is coming to a close (it’s been a tough strawberry season), be sure to check the Warbington Farms Facebook Page for most current information. Strawberry Picking in Forsyth County at Warbington Farms 2014 Looking for a good place to pick stawberries in Georgia? It’s time for the 2014 Strawberry picking season in Forsyth County! We’re super lucky to have a strawberry farm right in Cumming GA & Forsyth County – Warbington Farms! I must admit I absolutely LOVE fresh strawberries so this time of year always makes me happy. Warbington Farms is a U-Pick farm. If you’re on a time crunch or just don’t feel like picking your own, you can also purchase previously picked strawberries (when available) at the same price. And sometimes even cheaper – last year, I snagged some for $11/ gallon because they had been picked the previous day. While you’re there, let the kids take advantage of some Farm Fun including hay rides, inflatable slide & petting zoo. Activities and fees vary depending on the day. Click here for more details.
