4th of July Celebration in Cumming GA Celebrate the 4th of July in downtown Cumming with the annual 4th of July Celebration – a two day event! Thursday, July 3rd at the Cumming Fairgrounds Vendors, Inflatables for the Kids, a Live Band, and a fireworks display! 6pm – Vendors Open 7:30pm – Band 9:30pm – Fireworks Show 10pm – Dance Contest Bring your blanket, chairs, entertainment for the kids & set out on the lawn (or surrounding areas) to enjoy the festivities! There is NO admission or parking fee! Memorial Weekend 2014 in Forsyth County Just a few special events this Memorial Day Weekend: Friday, May 23rd – Enjoy a Memorial Day Ceremony: The City of Cumming holds its annual Memorial Day Ceremonies at 11am at Cumming’s Veterans War Memorial. 301 Veterans Memorial Boulevard. Includes the beautiful “Avenue of Flags”. Click here for more information. Saturday, May 24th – Strawberry Festival: Warbington farms is hosting a Strawberry festival from 10am to 5pm Click here for more information. Sunday, May 25th – BBQ & More: First Baptist Cumming off Sawnee Drive is hosting “Brother Bob’s BBQ” at 4pm during their annual Memorial Day weekend festivities. There will be face painting, inflatables, hay rides, and a dunk tank – and BBQ of course. All are invited to join them in the morning as well (services at 9:30am or 11am) as they honor those who have served or are currently serving our country. Click here for more information.
